Cynthia Druckenbrod, M.S.

Happy Houseplants


Cynthia Druckenbrod, M.S. served as Vice-President of Horticulture at Cleveland Botanical Garden from 2007 to 2017. Prior to that she oversaw the Gardens’ 18,000 square foot Eleanor Armstrong Smith Glasshouse from 2000-2007. Her specialties include neotropical and Old-World desert plants and animals. In her spare time, she studies neotropical butterflies. Cynthia earned a BA in Biology from Case Western Reserve University and Masters degree in Entomology from Auburn. She was awarded the Professional Citation Award in 2016 from the American Public Gardens Association for her leadership in the field of horticulture, particularly in the Program Selection Committee.
